CHALET

BY RUSTY NEWCOMER
12/23/79

WHEN SHE SAID WHERE'S MY DADDY
WHAT COULD I SAY
I SAID HE'S GONE, GONE FOREVER, CHALET

THEN SHE SAID, WHERE'D HE GO
WAS IT FAR AWAY
I SAID HE'S GONE TO LIVE WITH GOD, CHALET

THEN SHE ASKED, WHEN CAN I SEE HIM
I MISS MY DAD
YOU WILL SEE HIM, WHEN YOU'RE IN HEAVEN
PLEASE DON'T BE SAD

CHALET HE WILL ALWAYS BE
IN THE MEMORY OF YOUR MIND
OH! HOW HE LOVED YOU SO DIVINE
YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING DEEP INSIDE
BECAUSE THOSE FEELINGS JUST WON'T DIE
AND EVERY MORNING
AND EVERY NIGHT
YOU'LL FEEL THOSE FEELINGS LIKE THE SUNS RAYS OF LIGHT

Now you've grown to be a woman
And have kids of your own
And he'll always be there with you
You're never alone
So Chalet always remember
When life don't seem fair
When things get you down
He's always there
